CEAT Limited Appoints Rahul Gama as SVP – Human Resources

CEAT Limited, one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers and the flagship company of RPG Enterprises, has announced the appointment of Rahul Gama as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, effective January 15, 2026. In this capacity, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s people strategy, driving leadership development, overseeing workforce planning, and strengthening talent management initiatives to align with CEAT’s business objectives and long-term growth vision.
Rahul Gama brings nearly three decades of diverse leadership experience across South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the United States, Latin America, and India. His career spans multiple industries including FMCG, services, luxury retail, manufacturing, and consulting, giving him a broad and nuanced perspective on human resources practices. Over the years, he has successfully led large-scale transformation programs, managed mergers and acquisitions, supported start-ups, and guided HR teams through periods of rapid expansion. He has overseen HR operations for more than 10,000 employees representing over 24 nationalities across four continents, reflecting his ability to manage complex, multicultural workforces.
Prior to joining CEAT, Rahul served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Pidilite Industries Limited. He also spent close to 14 years with the Godrej Group in senior HR leadership roles, and earlier worked with Sara Lee, Marico Limited, and Arvind Limited. His academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and a Diploma in Labour Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
