YOHT Appoints Amit Chincholikar as Global CHRO

 

Yokohama, an off-highway tire manufacturing company, as YOHT appoints Amit Chincholikar as global CHRO. In this new role as global CHRO, he will be reporting to Nitin Mantri CEO, at YOHT and will be based in Mumbai.

 

Amit confirmed his appointment on a professional networking site and stated, “I’m humbled and excited to start a new role as Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.”

 

YOHT, is a subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber Manufacturing Company based in Mumbai with global presence, since 1950.

 

Amit comes with almost 23 years of experience in the HR domain and has strong exposure to people, rewards, and technology transformation.

 

Before joining Yokohama off-highway tires, Amit was working as a global CHRO at Tata Consumer Products, based in Mumbai, India.

 

Amit has also worked as Senior Vice President Global Human Resources at Tata Sons, Director Corporate Human Resources and Global HR Lead at Novelis, Group Head Rewards and Benefits at Aditya Birla Group, Vice President HR and admin south-east Asia at Universal Music Group, and Associated Director and Country Head-Rewards Practices at Mercer.

 

As a global CHRO at YOHT, his key priority will be to leverage human capital to deliver outstanding business results and build a strong, enabling culture to create a future ready organization.

 

As the new Global-CHRO at YOHT, Amit told the ET, “it is an incredibly exciting feeling to be a part of a global, fast-growing, and entrepreneurial venture such as YOHT. My objective is to ensure that we continue to enable the strong culture that has made us who we are and also continue our global growth aspirations.”

 

Amit feels that he has been fortunate to work with some really progressive organizations that have continuously magnified a higher level of thinking in the people space.

 

Amit is a SIBM alumnus with a master’s degree in human resources from the Pune campus and a bachelor’s in science statistics and operational research from the University of Mumbai.
