Microsoft and LinkedIn have collaborated to provide free beginner courses on generative artificial intelligence (Al). The Al Skill Initiative will be offered through LinkedIn Learning as part of Microsoft’s Skills for Jobs program.
The program’s goal is to develop understanding of artificial intelligence (Al) and provide considerable knowledge on Al so that it can be used responsibly and ethically.
While the courses will be provided in English initially, the content will be made available in additional languages in the near future.

Despite the fact that India has over 4,20,000 professionals in Al, machine learning (ML), and big data analytics, there is a 51 percent disparity between the need for Al expertise and its availability inside India.

Microsoft has taught around 70,000 women from India’s tier 2 and 3 cities. This implies that not only is the growing demand for Al experts met, but inclusion in this subject is also ensured.
