The Tata Group is a Mumbai-based Indian multinational company. It is India’s largest conglomerate, founded in 1868, with products and services in over 150 nations with activities in 100 countries across six continents.
According to Randstad India study, Tata Power is the most appealing employer brand in India for 2023, followed by Amazon and Tata Steel.

The Randstad Employer Research Report 2023 is an impartial study of approximately 163,000 respondents and 6,022 organisations globally that is a representative employer brand research based on broad audience impressions.
The study reflects employer attractiveness for the 150 largest employers known to at least 10% of the population in this market. The report delivers significant insights to assist firms create their company brand by optimising over 22 years of successful workplace branding knowledge.
The research 2023 focused on the following key points:
Work-life balance, competitive pay benefits, and a positive reputation remain the top three most significant motivators for workers when selecting an employment in 2023.
Current employers in India have an excellent reputation and a solid work-life balance. Clearly, they are operating rather well in comparison to the ideal employer image. Employers continue to strive for better pay and benefits.
Employees in India value non-material perks just as much as material benefits. Non-material advantages are evaluated as (very) important by 82% of respondents, compared to 85% for material benefits, which is valued significantly higher.
This year, the top performing sectors in India by attractiveness are auto and auto components, followed by IT, telecom & ITES; FMCG, Durables, Retail, E-commerce; Energy & Infrastructure.
However, Microsoft topped the list in 2022, followed by Mercedes-Benz and Amazon. Google India was the leading employer brand in 2021, followed by Amazon and Microsoft India.
