Fusion Microfinance Onboard Pooja Mehta as ‘CHRO’

 

On Friday, an Indian NBFC- MFI (Non- banking Financial Company and Micro Finance Institution), Fusion Microfinance announced the welcome and onboard of its new CHRO, Pooja Mehta.

 

The Micro-finance firm, founded by Devesh Sachdev with the focus to financial support/ small credit to the low- income individuals or groups and ‘Missing Middle’ segment of MSME sector. Since 2010, its inception, now Fusion Micro-finance leave it footprints across India with over a thousand branches and over 9000 employees.

 

Pooja Mehta, roped as CHRO to lead and operate ‘People Function over 1000 branches across India, including approximately 9, 300 employees of Fusion Micro-finance.

 

Pooja has over 20 years of experience working extensively across multiple HR domains, including Organisation Design, M&A, Leadership Development, Performance,  and Rewards consulting. She has great exposure to leading global assignments and worked for multiple clients across industries.

 

She has worked with global organisations like Pricewaterhouse Cooper (PwC) Mercer. She also has expanded her horizon as an independent consultant since 2015.

 

On welcoming Pooja Mehta onboard, Devesh Sachdev, MD & CEO, Fusion Microfinance, stated that the success and growth of fusion microfinance rests on its employee and culture. With a great interest in psychology, Mehta is a trained Life Coach and a certified Hogan Assessor.

Pooia is an alumnus of XLRI Jemshedpur and Delhi University as competeted her PGDM&IR, Human Resources and Bachelor of Psychology respectively.
