Tata Group Announces the Appointment of Tarun N P Verma as Global CHRO for Tata Consumer Products
Tata Consumer Products, an Indian fast-moving consumer goods, a Tata Group Company, announced the appointment of Tarun N P Verma as Global CHRO. The position reporting directly to Tata Consumer Products, MD, and CEO, Sunil D’Souza.
Tarun, an alumuns of NIT Jamshedpur and Tata Institute of Social Sciences poses a rich experience in HR domain with over two decades.
As a new CHRO for Tata Consumer Products, Tarun will be responsible for developing a competitive and compelling employee value proposition (EVP) and embedding an integrated people agenda to accelerate people success across all the pillars of TCP’s business strategy.
In over two decades of HR experience Tarun has worked with organizations across Manufacturing, FMCG, Telecom, and Energy sectors.
Before joining Tata Consumer Products, Tarun was associated with Shell as Vice President HR – Global Technology Division. where he was managing over 3,000 passionate employees of 70 nationalities and based out of more than 90 locations.
In his initial career, Tarun worked with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages as Associate Vice President – HR (Commercial, Strategic HR Projects). He started his career working with Nestlé as Manager – Corporate HR.

Tarun holds an MA degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He completed his Bachelor’s in Engineering from National Institute of Technology
