SECL CMD Dr Prem Sagar Mishra honoured with “CEO with HR Orientation Award”
SECL consistently achieves new heights under the direction of CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra. For the second year in a row, the company has produced 150 million metric tons at the quickest rate in its history.
The coveted “CEO with HR Orientation” award was given to SECL CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra on Thursday during a lavish function in Mumbai.
The award was presented to him during the 32nd World HRD Congress and Awards 2024, which took place in Mumbai, for his exceptional work in the fields of strategy, change management, effective employee communication, and human resource management innovation.
It is notable that SECL consistently achieves new heights under the direction of CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra. For the second year in a row, the company has produced 150 million metric tons at the quickest rate in its history. In terms of overall business revenue (OBR), the company is closing in on a new record, having surpassed last year’s total OBR two months ahead of schedule.
Under the direction of CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, good improvements have been implemented with the motto “samvedansheel prabandhan—samvadsheel prabandhan,” taking landowners’ interests into consideration. Since February 2022, over 1000 landowners have been given employment approval.
Under the capable direction of CMD Dr. Mishra, the business has also planted more than 10 lakh saplings this year, the most of any Coal India subsidiary, in an effort to support sustainable development.
Through CSR, the company is dedicated to the coal belt’s overall development. More than 800 smart classrooms have been erected by the company in government schools in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, giving over one lakh youngsters from rural and tribal areas the chance to learn to use cutting-edge technology. Additionally, the youngsters of Koyalanchal are receiving free residential NEET-medical coaching under the “SECL ke Sushrut” plan, which will enable them to pursue their aspiration of becoming doctors.
