Adani Group Owned NDTV surprise employees with the highest pay raise in industry
Following a comprehensive and transparent appraisal method, Adani Group-owned media business NDTV has announced a wage increase across all network divisions. The media company acknowledged in a statement that they had offered an 11.50 percent compensation increase across the board, which is significantly higher than the industry norm.
According to the company’s media announcements, this rise was implemented within six months of joining the Adani group. NDTV also indicated that they were focusing on performance-based merit appraisals, aligning with industry-leading techniques to guarantee that staff are recognized and rewarded based on their performance.
During the appraisal process, the corporation concentrated on its younger employees. It further claimed that the goal was to maintain their wage growth while also developing a clear career path for them.
With this step, NDTV hopes to harness its knowledge, ingenuity, and devotion to bring excellent programming to its audience while the media sector undergoes significant changes as a result of technology breakthroughs.
According to Senthil Chengalvarayan, executive director of NDTV, the media company has entered the next phase of its expansion by launching nine news stations in various Indian languages. He also stated that the company’s ambitious expansion strategy, which includes the introduction of regional language platforms and future improvements in the digital sphere, will bring new chances and responsibilities to the team.
The Adani company acquired a controlling share in NDTV in December of the previous year, assuming complete control of the news channel. NDTV currently has an Adani Group shareholding of more than 64%.
