Tata Communications elevates Aman Gupta to CHRO as Aadesh Goyal retires.
Aman Gupta, an economics graduate from Delhi University and an MBA holder from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), has been with Tata Communications since 2013. His journey in the HR domain began with Deloitte Consulting, where he served for two years from 2004 to 2006. He then moved on to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant in HR advisory.
Tata Communications, a global digital ecosystem enabler, has announced the appointment of Aman Gupta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective from July 1, 2024. He will be succeeding Aadesh Goyal, who is set to retire on June 30, 2024, after a commendable 14-year tenure with the firm.
Aman Gupta, an economics graduate from Delhi University and an MBA holder from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), has been with Tata Communications since 2013. His journey in the HR domain began with Deloitte Consulting, where he served for two years from 2004 to 2006. He then moved on to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant in HR advisory.
Gupta further honed his skills at KPMG Advisory as a manager in HR advisory for three years. His next stint was at EXL service, where he served as assistant vice president of talent management and organizational development from 2011 to 2013.
In September 2013, Gupta joined Tata Communications as director of human resources. His dedication and hard work led to his elevation to the position of senior director and global head of talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, diversity & inclusion, and business HR in less than five years. Subsequently, he was promoted to vice president, global head of compensation and benefits, and business HR
On the other hand, Aadesh Goyal, an alumnus of BITS Pilani, has been associated with Tata Communications since 2010. During his tenure, he was part of the Management Board and headed sustainability, CSR, health and safety, and supply chain management. He has also been associated with SAP as a CHRO global advisory board member since 2019.
Known for his strong work ethics and keen eye for detail, Gupta is all set to step into his new role as CHRO, Tata Communications. The company looks forward to his leadership in continuing the legacy of his predecessor and steering the HR function towards new heights.
