SMFG India Credit appoints Gaurav Terdal as Chief Human Resources Officer

SMFG India Credit elevated Gaurav Terdal as Chief Human Resources Officer from September.

SMFG India Credit Co. Ltd. (Formerly Fullerton India Credit Co. Ltd.) has announced the appointment of Gaurav Terdal as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). 

 

SMFG India, confirmed Gaurav’s appointment by a press release which stated, “Gaurav’s primary responsibility will be to drive success through strategic HR leadership. He will report to Swaminathan Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer, SMFG India Credit.”

 

As CHRO, he oversees human resources and learning and development for 20,000 people. He is responsible for driving performance through strategic HR leadership, with a focus on talent, engagement, and growth. He is deeply committed to establishing an environment of excellence and inclusivity.

 

Gaurav has spent 9 years with SMFG India Credit in various capacities, honing his talents in areas such as compensation, business HR, talent acquisition, HR systems, payroll, and HR operations.

 

Gaurav Terdal has over two decades of experience as an outstanding HR leader.

 

Gaurav has extensive experience in Human Resources, having worked in HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, and HR System Implementation.

 

Gaurav’s strategic acumen is evident in his ability to adjust Talent Management and Development strategies to the specific life cycle stages of enterprises. His broad experience with huge companies has given him the expertise to achieve a healthy balance between the aggregate group objectives and the specific nature of individual organizations.

 

Gaurav had worked in the financial services, manufacturing, and car industries, including Adani Capital and Volvo Auto India Pvt. Ltd.
