Ajax Engineering, India’s leading concrete equipment manufacturer, appointed Joseph Peeris as Chief Human Resources Officer. This appointment is effective August 1, 2023.
Ajax Engineering confirmed Joseph Peeris’s appointment as a new chapter in HR leadership.
On this, appointment, Ajax Engineering releases a press note and states,” We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Joseph Peeris as our new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this pivotal role, Joseph will spearhead the company’s human resources function and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the organization.”
Joseph, widely known as Joe, brings with him an impressive track record of 26 years of hands-on experience and expertise in various aspects of Human Resources. His diverse background and expertise include proficiency in Strategic Business support, Employee Communication, Recruitment, Compensation and benefits management, and developing HR processes and policies, HRIS, Performance Management, Talent Development, Employee relations, and Training and development.
Over the two decades of his HR career, he has successfully managed HR operations in industries such as Metals and Mining, refineries, Energy, Automotive, Auto components, and Engineering.

Joseph started his HR career at Vedanta Resources Limited as an associate manager in 1996.
Joseph’s experience in Indian conglomerates and global multinationals has sharpened his understanding of integrating HR functions into business strategy, implementing innovative initiatives, and nurturing talent.
On his appointment as CHRO at Ajax Engineering, Joseph expressed his excitement and said, “It is a privilege to be a part of the Ajax family that places people at its core. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in human resources management from the University of Madras.
