Samsung launches ‘sheLEADS’ to empower women leaders
The goal of the Samsung 'sheLEADS' program is to find, support, and develop young women so they may take on leadership positions inside the company and effect positive change.
Samsung India recently launched‘sheLEADS’, an initiative to develop leadership abilities among its high-potential female personnel. The 12-week program will assist the organization in fostering the growth of its female employees in a number of areas related to learning, development, and business.
The goal of the program is to find, support, and develop young women so they may take on leadership positions inside the company and effect positive change.
The program is intended to foster an environment that supports employee development, going beyond the confines of the conventional workplace. It will also enable them to reach their full leadership potential.
Twenty female employees have been chosen by the organization to participate in this 12-week training program. Additionally, with a combined 20 to 30 years of experience across multiple Samsung roles, this cohort offers a variety of unique experiences.
Samsung pledged to honor and commend the exceptional achievements of its female staff members in a statement issued on Monday, February 12.
The organization highlighted that these women are not only shattering stereotypes but also serving as examples of how women may become leaders in the present and the future by succeeding in a variety of business, education, and development-related fields.
By giving high-potential women prominence and acknowledgment, these programs dispel gender stereotypes and eventually promote an inclusive workplace. These kinds of programs create pathways for job progression and leadership chances by filling in training gaps and boosting self-assurance.
The program’s shared experiences foster a community that encourages cooperation and resilience. All things considered, these programs are essential for breaking down barriers, highlighting accomplished women in leadership roles, and creating an environment at work that celebrates and encourages gender diversity.
