Generation Z expects a Salary of Rs 50,000 for only 4 by 4 work.

In the midst of global economic slowdown, major layoffs, job impurity, and a lack of professionalism, ‘generation Z’ demands $50,000 for only working sixteen hours each week in a chamber.

A new Twitter post has churned the social media and received nearly one lakh views so far. Companies from numerous industries are currently laying off staff and delaying the onboarding of recent college graduates.

Since January 2023, there have been 1,281 layoffs at tech firms, affecting 322,369 individuals (1,573 people per day), compared to 1,557 layoffs at tech firms in 2022, affecting 243,318 people (667 people per day).

A lawyer from Kolkata recently took to Twitter to discuss her experience interviewing a fresher candidate for the litigation associate position, in which the fresher candidate demanded Rs 50,000 in pay for working 4 hours per day, four days per week.

“Interviewed a fresher for a litigation associate post in Kolkata who wants 4 days work week, 4 hrs/day work (because he doesn’t like going to court and will only be in chamber, he said), and a 50K salary.” “May God bless this generation.”

The post has currently received 92.6K views and numerous retweets, but the reactions are priceless.

“An individual may have his/her priorities,” one Twitter user stated. Many of my peers dislike traveling to the courts because they often lack basic conveniences such as women’s restrooms. Stop imposing your standards on others. And, certainly, may this generation be blessed for rising up.”

“I’m curious whether such lawyers will ever be able to make a’mark’ as #advocates in the long run!” You can’t get away from the #Courts! #”God bless today’s graduates (many of whom are arrogant and crib for being a First. Gen. #Lawyer),” said another.

“If you can’t get his hourly output to justify paying him $40 an hour, the issue must be somewhere else.” I also admire his candor and lucidity. He isn’t very optimistic in the start. @warikoo,” another user said.

Facts discovered:

According to the tweet, the generation Z demanded that they be compensated for what they deserved. Of course, jobs are for the needy, not the greedy. Basic comforts are no longer in demand in the twenty-first century; instead, it is time to swap time spent on occupations and task completion.

An open month demand is good with quality talent, but it may not be possible for many job domains. In the near future, the open payout demand will produce a pool of excellent people in unemployment, insolvency, and more talent outflow.

However, it may also have a positive impact on getting places for talent who are in need of jobs as individuals or workforce as job providers.
